Privacy Policy
Local First
Core Commitment: This App primarily relies on local NFC hardware. The vast majority of data remains on your device locally, and we take your privacy very seriously.
AntNFC takes your privacy very seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
This App strives to minimize data collection. During your use, we may involve the following information:
1.1 Information You Provide
- User Feedback: When you contact us via email, we will see your email address and the content you voluntarily send.
1.2 Automatically Collected Information (Local Processing Only)
- NFC Tag Data: Content (such as text, URLs) from NFC tags you read. This data is temporarily processed in your device's memory for display to you, or stored in your phone's local database if you manually click "Save Record".
- Write History: Copies of content you write to tags (if you enable the history feature). These records are stored only in your iCloud (if you have iCloud sync enabled) or locally.
1.3 System Permissions
- NFC Permission: This App needs access to your device's NFC hardware. iOS will prompt for your consent. Denying this permission will prevent the App from reading or writing tags.
- Local Network Permission (Optional): Some iOS versions may request this permission, used only for detecting NFC session status, not for any network communication.
1.4 Third-Party SDKs
This App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash reporting SDKs (such as Firebase, Umeng, etc.). This means no third-party company can collect your usage behavior through this App.
2. Use of Information
The information we collect is used only for the following purposes:
- Providing Services: Enabling NFC tag reading, writing, and display locally on your device.
- Improving the App: Only through anonymous crash logs provided by the App Store (which you can choose to share with developers) to understand App stability. We cannot identify you through these logs.
3. Storage and Transfer of Information
- Local Storage: Your NFC records and settings are stored in your iPhone's sandbox or Core Data database. All local data will be cleared when you uninstall the App.
- iCloud Sync (if applicable): If you enable Apple iCloud Drive and allow this App to sync, your records may sync across devices through your iCloud account. This is end-to-end encrypted by Apple.
4. Information Sharing
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third party, except:
- As required by law (e.g., lawful requests from government authorities).
- With your explicit consent.
5. Your Rights
You may at any time:
- Delete Data: Delete any saved NFC records from the "History" page within the App, or simply uninstall the App to delete all data.
- Manage Permissions: Turn off NFC permission for this App in iOS System Settings (the App will not work if turned off).
6. Children's Privacy
This App does not knowingly collect personal information from children (under 14 years of age). It is recommended that children use NFC functionality under parental guidance to avoid overwriting others' tags.
7. Policy Changes
If this policy undergoes material changes, we will notify you via an in-app popup or App Store description. Material changes will require your renewed consent.
